Waloli Kimono from Keely ^_^ Oh it just turned out spectacularly.  I'm thinking about getting a hold of her again and seeing if she'll alter the bow for me so it looks more like wings behind her, either that or I'll wire the ones that she put there.  I'm thinking I might have to get each of my little fairies something from Keely simply because she's so fantastic about it ^_^ Little Fig get some wort of little, boy Waloli or just a little Cutsie Victorian sort of outfit with ruffles XD and my purple girl would have a vastly less frilly version in her colors... Just too much entertainment for me.

Long time no post

So I said something about my new gypsy the last post.  That thing turned out to be a headache and a half.  Just like a regular computer it needed to be updated before it would run properly.  No big deal right?  three days later and having to reinstal the software it finally started working.  Just intime for me to make my dad's birthday card on it.  AND OH was it going to be a cool as hell card!  I got it all figured out on the Gypsy... pluged it into my cricut.... "Um... you aint updated your machine yet dummy"  *rage*

Luckily the cricut only took about 15 minutes to finish updating unlike the Gypsy, So I was able to get everything worked out ok.  I've discovered that I'm not allowed to have things hassle free.  My husband's tax money fun allowance went quickly and without a hitch.  Literally everything I bought with my fun money ended up being a pain in the ass or forced me to get something else to make it work.

On to what little dolly info is in this post.  So I still have no leads on a Small comfort.  None at all.  And it's driving me batty.  I just wish that SOMEONE would contact me about one.  I don't really care what head and all that it has so long as I can get one of those little baby bodies... it makes me sad to think that I'm STILL without my dolly.  No word on any of the shoes either.  I got a Email back from release rain and >.> well it wasn't encouraging. something along the lines of "Don't knwo if we're going to get more of what you want... but buy our new shoes!"  >.> *rage*  I HATE being told to "buy what's there" or "Oh buy these new things" BUT IT"S NOT WHAT I ASKED FOR!  it's like these people have no concept of the fact that I will not buy stuff I don't want... PERIOD.  I don't buy things on "well it's the style I like... but not the color... oh well..."  If it's not what I wanted, I will go with out and you getting in some other thing that I can't bring myself to care about isn't going to change that. [/rant]

Soooo I ordered a Cricut Gypsy... and >.>well originally it was supposed to come in 7 to 10 days... which was the 1st through the 4th... then... they changed it to the first through the 7th... then... they delayed it AGAIN! wasn't supposed to come in till the 8th.

BUT IT'S IN! I just got on the website and it says it's in store! EEE! I'm so excited I gotta go get it ^_^ then! I can see if I can use my cricut cutter more for my dollies (and more importantly more effectively)

I'm Soooo glad the hubby and I went to bed early last night.  The little one went and had a nightmare and woke me up around 5:30 ish and I haven't been back to bed.

So I thought I'd talk about Underpants.  Specifically my doll's lack of them.  Both my eldest and my husband are getting upset with me for not putting underpants on my male doll, Val.  My husband because he hates seeing doll junk laying around while I'm working on clothes for him and my son because... well everyone should be wearing underpants don't you know!  So I'm putting aside the Jeans I am very near completing to make some simple undies for poor Val.  It'll be cotton underpants.. probably made out of the same stuff his new shirt is made from.  Not sure if I'll start on them now... or when i wake up from my inevitable nap.

Antiques

So I have a new love of antiques... Turns out many MANY things they used to make they'd make in tiny TINY sizes for other stuff.  So I found this lovely little footed box that looks like an old powder dish or an old round  jewelry box... it was a ring box!  mom found this AWESOME little tray thing that's only about 3 inches across and will work perfectly for putting her... Miniature (read: sample) perfume bottles on.  she found a fantastic sample bottle that was just awesome... cut like a real bottle, with a little glass stopper lid and everything.  shot-glasses shaped like crystal vases, Tiny vases that could not have any real practical purpose, just OODLES of neat stuff.  And a perfect doll sized locket.

New Acquisitions (pics)

The purse strings haven't been real tight lately and the dollies have been getting a little bit spoiled.  Alot of it needed work and the like but I'm enjoying the acquisition of it atm. I'm gonna post a big cumberson post with pics and the like so buckle down.

Now to the individual bits... Bought some fabric from a doll friend, mom made a Chinese dress out of it for Cassie.  It's really fab and fits her pretty damn well.Classy if nothing else. I'm quite fond of it, she hasn't taken it off yet ^_^

Next up is what poor Val was holding and the only thing thats kinda for him... but not.  Jellies for my dear ones.  Bought bracelets and chokers for msd but turns out that she cuts them for larger dolls.  Not a problem... not even alittle bit.. now I can cut them to exactly the right length and Lotus can wear one of the bracelets as a friggin choker!  I thought that was badass.  Lotus is wearing one of the MSD chokers and a bracelet, she claimed them right out the gate.  Left the black one for Val really and he's going to get to wear them when I make some more punkish (or at least short sleeved) shirts for him.

Speaking of, Lotus has a new outfit, bought from BFK ink's 12 inch doll stuff. bought them for the little back pack and purse...but they fit ok... tight but ok and she seems to be enjoying herself...

Next up, shoes!  Lots of shoes. well three pair that fit and one pair that didn't and therefor isn't pictured.  All from Dale Rae and they fit like a dream.

The pair that didn't fit were actually for Lotus.  I figured she could use some shoes, turned out she could use some smaller shoes. :/

Oh and while we're on the shoes... I found these AWESOME boxes a while back.  Got one to store the extra hands and one for the little dodads I've got for the dollies.  But after I got the shoes i couldn't help wanting to keep then neat... probably because I'd recently lost Cassie's other pair and found them again... brand is  "really useful box" and they really aren't joking.  I went back and bought several more after getting all my shoes and stuff stowed away.

Next is my strange find.  Two tiny cast iron skillets.  No I mean it... cast in Iron.  they both had those silly little paintings in them but since they are like... real tiny skillets I cooked the paint off the one I will keep.  Willing to sell the other... if my sister or mom don't want them.  I even seasoned the cooked one to make it look a little more used and evenly colored.

lastly on the "mostly finished" list is the painting and frame.  This was fun... and frustrating... I've found that it's been entirely too long since I last did a water coloring so this one is... lackluster at best  I like the way the frame came out though, and will likely have another go at making a painting... might go with acrylic next time so it won't warp so badly >.> or use actual water color paper next time >.>

Now.. the unfinished stuff isn't really... pictured individually. But the flowers and two glass bottles are going to be vases, mom's got some sunflowers for me which will be a blast to work with and make a fun piece out of.  purple roses and some little thin foam flowers for the other one, should be interesting.  The two brightly colored frames are for if I ever pull my head out my ass and start doing more tiny paintings... we'll see.  but if I do... I'm going to have to paint those pretty heavily, Might actually pull the backer off the green one and spray it black or maybe even coppery gold or something and make it a mirror.  Copper would work best cus I could use any lost paint as patina >.>

not sure what I'm going to do with it...but I found this at good will today... might be a glass or maybe a votive holder... not sure... but it's kinda cool ^_^

Another non dolly specific thing that's cool is I have a Cricut gypsy on it's way to my wally world and a new Halloween cartridge for it... with monsters ^o^ I'm so making haloween decorations for the dolls.... and my kids >.> of course them too! there is a little paper 3d object at the end... we're gonna have fun sending nearly 30 to school ^_^

K that seems to be all the junk I've collected for my dear dollies  hopefully I'll be able to do an update when some of this stuff set up with their stuff...

OMG Shoes!

Ok so there's a little dichotomy going on here... I'm not a shoe girl.  I have a pair of beat up tennis shoes that I wear pretty much every day.  I have a pair of brown shoes... and a few pairs of black heels left over from high school dances, never come out of their boxes.  I just can't get into shoes.  Yea I like pretty shoes... or sandals... but I can't bring myself to care enough to actually go out and look and buy them and find the pair that I like the look, are in the right size and fit well enough that I don't wanna tear them off after 20 minutes.  Shoes are just TOO much of a hastle.

Enter my dolls.  It must have something to do with the fact that they never complain if the shoes are too tight or if they have a funny spot in the sole.  Never sweat up the insides and can wear the shoes indefinitely.  I LOVE shoes for my dolls.  I love them hard.  Heels.  I just got three pairs of heels in the mail (thanks mom! ^_^) and good lord I don't think I could be happier trying on these little shoes on my doll.  I nearly choke at human shoe prices.  I buy them at $20 or less.  Doll shoes... 20 bucks barely bothers me... I get spendy if I see shoes under 20... and if the measurements say they'll fit... hide my friggin wallet. 

Over the last couple of weeks I've gotten cranky because it turned out the shoes I wanted were out of stock... two separate times... That's right.. cranky for days...

What is it about these little shoes?? Is it honestly because -I- don't have to wear them?  If you have a theory I'm GLAD to hear it.
