Pullip doll...

So "I" bought a Pullip, It's a make it own and our company actually bought it... Oh yea, Kaleidoscope coats is now Kaleidoscope BJD wear, and That's been a blast so far.  But yea, back to the doll.

She's a make it own in... brown?  tan?  IDK what they call their colors but she's what I'd call "Hispanic/Filipino" tan.  So I'm pretty much already figured out what I wanna do... I'm gonna do a steampunk salsa dress... We'll have to see what comes of that but I'm excited.

What's really fun about this... Husband is already like "Yep, just waiting for you to fall in love with it"  I specifically got a doll I don't like so that I could fix it up and sell it... I mean I totally understand, cus Yea, that does sound like something I'd do... which is why I'm not doing this with a doll there's any chance of me actually -wanting- Can't do it with resin dolls that's for damn sure, but lemme tell you, I can't fit a flippin Pullip in my collection so thats that.  And that's what I tell me and everyone else...

Either way, YAY! salsa steampunk!  Yay!

Centaurs!  Elemental centaurs?? MIXED ELEMENT CENTAUR BABIES!!

Ok so now that that's out of my system.. a slightly more eloquent version of what I'm on about!  So I've written on here about how I wanted to do a element mash up with the clear bits and about how OMG the centaurs are so damn cute!  Well I've quietly been thinking about them and my dolly plans for the future... when I had enough free processing power to actually do that...

Either way, I am thinking about my "earth" elemental mixed baby maybe being a centaur and while "mud" may be fun, I'm thinking I might wanna go with "dust" or "cinder"  and oh the plans I've got made up!!  I'm trying to decide between them.

Base doll it's self I kinda wanna go with cinder, Plan so far is Swap out a pair of hoves for pixiu feet, swap for pixiu hands, maybe even mod a pixiu tail to go on the butt over the cute little tail, and I'm trying to think of horns to swap the deer horns for so that they can have more dragon like horns.  As if that's not exciting enough, I'm thinking the dear parts would be dark tan or black, the body parts would be lt grey or a custom color that I can't figure out atm, and the hooves and horns would be the clear orange they showed on the new doll... So that's like SUUUPER exciting.  Less excited about her clothes, cus I would be tempted to make her clothes holey and singed... and one of the things I wanna do with this doll is make those super cute saddle outfits like my My Little Ponies had back in the day.

Dust I havn't really figured up as hard as Cinder, Buuuut So far she'd be purple hooves, light grey skin, and tan or maybe ask for slightly darker tan horse bits, Thinking about checking a tan bit against the grey bits, cus I think the light grey is too dark for me to like it as a skin against the normal coffee color.  Buuuut I would be adding wings to her.  Now if you haven't figured it out, I'm way more certain that THIS doll would be a female and with the light and sweet nature I attribute to this version of an elemental centaur, All the clothes Ideas for the MLP type stuff works... I mean it just WOOORKS for this doll.  Lace and fluff and light airy outfits... UFF!  I might end up going for dust because while she's slightly less interesting, and she's a very normal centaur color combo which I -could- flip to make an even more normal color combo and then it wouldn't match Cinder so much... but I don't have any like... questions about what bits she'd have, and I'm sure she's a she.

Either way, that's enough pontificating for the moment.  Centaurs soon to be added more resolutely to the list!  And I tell you what if they make a mermaid tail That's gonna be some wicked elemental water shit right there.

Let me count the ways, One, two, three!  FOUR!  Four centaur babies!!

Oh yea that's fuckin right, 4 new 1/6th heads, 1 new FABULOUS 1/6th body that includes a centaur butt.  but in true resinsoul fashion we don't have any truffing clue what is and is not interchangable.  So here's my first blush.

Neck looks like it's more of one of the new, DJ bodies... and the arms are clearly DJ... Buuuuut!  the arms look slimmer, and they are a peanut joint not a cap joint... The chest section of the new body looks like it is probably actually similar to the SJ female body... now I'm not positive on that but it's what it looks like to me.

One way or the other I love the new dolls.. A plan is slowly forming about them..

Where did the time go?

Kay so life is a shit storm right now.  Puddle is on it's way, mom's having some major problems atm (mom being the person who is the driving force of our GOING to puddle), I'm stressed about my weight and did I mention that our etsy store is doing well enough it's causing problems fer puddle?  Yea, we sold 3 short coats and 1 long coat like 2 weeks ago, all of them pullip coats.

So yea.  I have a bunch of bullshit I need to get done and you know what I've been doing?  In famous Me fashion I've been screwing around on minecraft not doing any of it.  What's that you say?  that's a terrible Idea?  Oh yea, it's awful and I know it.  When I get stressed out I always find another avenue of distraction.  That's been my distraction lately.

I mean, my collection is nothing to sneeze at but Landon, The Dia, and the big Dipper have all come into the picture this year... and it's only Feb...  I've done faces on Landon, Amel, Una, and the Dai (who's still getting blushing on all her 80 bajillion parts) and have wigs to make for Fig (yes, I'm still working on his T_T) Una (straight hair... T_T) And probably a new one for Val cus... Oh yea, Biggun is on track to buy current Val so I can purchase new beefier Val... aaaaannnnd I'll prolly have to make a wig for old val so Mikey can have him and a wig and Old val will get a new faceup and new val will have to have a faceup simmilar to what he used to have.... O.O  OMFG I'm so damn busy!

On top of all this dolly shit, I'm having to redo our living room cus both our computer desks are going bad fast.  Like really fast... Like the one has a half inch of sag and has had it for a while... Were it not for the fact they can't push out cus they are book ended... They'd have broken a long time ago.

And I'm going to have to cut this pontificating short cus I have a kitten playing in the lid of my sewing machine case.

In deep and going deeper

So the clear resin is giving me too many ideas.  I said the thing about the elements... You know, pure elements being MSD and mixed being Yo... welp.  I have a claim on Mist with my sister, and I think I want an elf eared Ni head... so long as Ni isn't Bei with human ears... which I'm pretty sure it's not...


Hold on... I'm checking the website... Ok, so I'm sure that Ni is not a bei with human ears.  Her little face is less smiley and her eyes are straighter on top... Preeeedy damn sure.  But since RS has been offering to put different ears on dolls I was like... Ok, elf ears on my Mist doll?  and then a water doll.. well If I'ma have a water doll I may as well put mermaid ears on a li then...

Yep.  I did that.  I figured out heads for 2 elemental dolls.  Oh and don't forget, I still am an idiot... so I am right now, at this very moment, contemplating how one would do opposing element dollies... Yep... Just came up with steam... which would be fire water... and then Dust would be air earth wouldn't it? Steam would have to be either clear blue and red or vice versa... do clear red and light blue or pink and clear dark blue?  IDK.  But clear brown is a must for dust.  and then light grey for the not clear?  Eeeeeh I'm bad. I'm bad, Y'know it!  If they come out with a new head... I'm sunk, Especially if it's a 1/6th head and I like it.

Also interesting things.... Mom is thinking about getting an MSD boy but she wants him to be slightly shorter than Tulip... T_T this is gonna be a pain.  She's gonna end up going to another website and likely going to end up not happy with it.  She's had the problem before... It'll happen again just the same.  *siiigh* oh well.  Whatever.  Time to go back to doing actual stuffs

Just more update stuff

SO!  Some updates from last post...

1.  yes, Resinsoul will tint the clear resin.  Elementals will happen at some point in time... Not sure when, not sure what, or even what size, kinda flopping around with the idea of Psuedo elementals, Like smoke (air fire) Mud (water earth) Embers (fire earth) Mist (air water) that sort of thing.  Only problem is they are mostly... Well muddled colors... Like embers would be fun with like... brown and clear red  And mist could be awesome with like light blue and clear purple  but Mud would be like... at best brown and blue... and smoke is like... grey and clear?  grey and darker grey?  Kiiiinda boring.  Not terrible but not great.  loads to think about... Maybe even... >.> Pure elements as MSD and psuedo elements as 1/6?  That could be badass...  Foo...

2. Coats are coming along amazing.  We have some totally awesome colors worked up and I'm spazzy stoked.  We've got a couple that are xmas/winter a really awesome red sky at dawn and a forest floor color... buuuut the one I'm most into atm... Argyle sweater... I know... it sounds stupid and it may well sell like shit... BUT!  I love it.  Mom always shys away from the argyle pattern but I've always liked it... It's just so weird.  So I have an awesome combo picked out with that and I'm just like... WOOOOOO!

3. Koda!  So I painted him finally, he's amazing.  He's so damn cute!  and He looks nothing like I planned.  So first off... those "marbles" he had for eyes... They were shitty plastic beads.  >.> So unamused.  but I got him new beads (purple) restrung him and blushed his whole little self.  He gave me fits while I was blushing him but now I'm so stupidly happy... I can't even put him away.  he needs me to make him a case so he can be carried safely.  That needs to go on the docket like now... Like last week now.

Otherwise it's been pretty slow.  Got a bug spray happening today so I need to go put on pants and pick up the last of the dishes >.<  The joys of apartment living.
